Privacy Policy

Clipper Shipper ("the app", "we") uploads and schedules videos to YouTube channels that the user manages. This policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used, stored and shared, and how you can remove it.

Data the app accesses

• Google sign-in authorization for the scopes youtube.upload (to upload videos you choose) and youtube.readonly (to read your channel's name and ID so you can confirm the destination channel).
• Video files and details you provide: the video file, title, description, tags, category and scheduled publish time.
• Upload results: the ID of each video uploaded, so the app can show you a link to it.

The app does not access your subscribers, comments, messages, watch history, payment details or any other Google account data.

How the data is used

Data is used only to provide the app's user-facing feature: uploading and scheduling the videos you select to the channel you select. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or training of any model, and it is not sold.

Storage and security

• Your authorization token is stored only on the computer where you run the app, in a private folder readable only by your operating-system user. It is not sent to any server operated by us.
• Video files stay on your computer until you upload them; they are sent only to YouTube.
• A local log on your computer records the video IDs and titles of uploads made with the app.

Sharing

We do not share, transfer or disclose Google user data to anyone. Data goes only to YouTube (Google), as needed to perform the upload you request.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Clipper Shipper's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

YouTube API Services

The app uses YouTube API Services. By using it you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Retention and deletion

• You can revoke the app's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions or via the Google security settings page. Revoking access makes the stored token useless.
• Deleting the app's folder on your computer removes the stored token and the local upload log immediately.
• To ask us to delete anything related to you, email us (below); we respond within 7 days. We keep no copy of your data on our own servers.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
